Hi Everyone!
I can't believe it is December already. We are almost finished with our first semester. Before everyone enjoys a very well deserved winter break there were a few things that I wanted to share with students and families. Please look on the community corner page to see the most updated school and community information.

La Paloma Academy-Lakeside is working diligently to help make students and our community aware of the potential problems that are associated with "bullying" behavior. We are working together to inspire a positive and respectful environment throughout the school. Please take time to review the Character Hero Pledge with your child and discuss it with them.

Character Hero Pledge:
We will not accept bullying at our school. Our goal is to develop and support respectful friendships. We agree that it is everyone's responsibility to stop bullying. It is up to each of us to make sure that bullying does not take place.
We Will:
*Treat others with fairness and respect.
*Find ways to help others join games and other activities.
*Speak out against bullying
*Refuse to let others be bullied.
*Report bullying to an adult.
*Refuse to bully others.
*Be responsible bystanders who are part of the solution.
*Help others feel safe and comfortable at our school.
